No Title

This piece is from the morning of May 2nd, I got a few done that day in Bristol but I would say this is the pick of the litter. not alot to ramble about today so here is a Quote: "Instead of trying to reproduce exactly what I see before me, I make more arbitrary use of colour to express myself more forcefully ... To express the love of two lovers by the marriage of two complementary colours ... To express the thought of a brow by the radiance of a light tone against a dark background. To express hope by some star. Someone's passion by the radiance of the setting sun."Vincent van Gogh, 1888.

Hi Dan, nice piece - whites in sunlight are always fun to paint, aren't they?

Thank you Eric, yeah, I especially enjoy exploring the colors of the shadow sides. Also I think I live in the land of white houses..?.
