Pemaquid Pickett

Recently I was invited to be the 2011 guest artist of the Pemaquid Gallery. This is Maines oldest organized group of artists and is located right in the Pemaquid Point Light State Park. I am really enjoying the chane to show my paintings of the area and hang some of my personal favorites. They actually let me decide what goes where. Crazy.

The above piece "Pemaquid Pickett" 16x20" will be available soon.

There will be a link to the gallery shortly up in the top right of the blog.

Thank you very much Dan! I am putting in more work then ever. Realizing that rowing the boat is getting me much further then waiting for the wind.

Your influence is spreading and hopefully translating into healthy sales. Your work continues to have an immediacy that is fascinating and the feeling of light that inhabits them give them a real lift. Lovely.

I love the color harmony on this painting - its just so easy on the eyes - once again great painting dan and at 16x20 I'd love to see it up in person.
