Lady in Waiting

Here is another piece including local lobster boat "Russ Ann". I really enjoy this boat, the colors (especially in the sun) the proud stance it takes on the stands and I imagine in the water she is the perfect balance of handling and stability. I cant wait to see her covered in snow..
Speaking of snow, I just purchased a Subaru Forester (well the bank did, but they have my signature :)  )  and look forward to being able to really get out and paint in the harsh Winter weather. So if you have been on the fence about buying one of my pieces, now would be a great time. Subaru cars are not cheap but are pretty much a necessity to live and work here.

Quote: "I get letters from people about my work. The thing that pleases me most is that my work touches their feelings. In fact, they don't talk about the paintings. They end up telling me the story of their life or how their father died. " (Andrew Wyeth)

We had a Forester for years and loved it. It was a great car, and probably still is, giving someone else a good ride. Now we're on our third Outback.

Stopped in Camden on the way to NH last week, Dan, and saw more of your work at Camden Falls Gallery. You're really good.

Thanks a lot Michael, you are too kind! I

I was looking ATP the Outbacks as they seem to be a better car for milage but i don't really fit in them that well being a big guy and 6'3"+. I am happy to just have a car that more then one door opens. only the drivers door opened in my last one, very hard to go painting with.
