Mini Series, Vernon Lee....


























 Here is number four in the "mini series" after Sargents  "Vernon Lee" now am I alone in thinking this was a lady til the name was read??? either way one of my personal favs.

Dude, I think she was a lady, just not a super feminine one, or one with a super feminine name. If memory serves she was a friend of his who was a poet. I'll have to look this up now to make sure.

Dan,

Vernon Lee was a pseudonym. Her name was Violet Piaget. She was a writer and close friend of JSS. I can't remember if they met through mutual friendship with Henry James.
