A few more from Monhegan

OK these are six pieces that I have OK (?) photos of and can post today.. I am trying to get out the door for some painting as the weather is not gray as forecasted.. I will write more on the stories that go with some of these when the weather is not so good... which should be soon..

Thanks Frank! and thanks for commenting.. Maybe my opinions have scared some away..?. I will tell you that the top one is the first painting I painted on my second day there (well first morning waking up there..)It was early and warm enough for a t-shirt at 6:3? in the morning. The location was peppered with dripped oil paint all along the path to the rocks I walked out on to get this view.. I remember being completely overwhelmed with the beauty of the air and the color harmonies it created, pretty much everywhere I looked..

Nice work Dan! I particularly like the first one - really interesting composition that pulls you in. Your color harmony, as always, is lovely! Hope you guys are staying warm up there -- I'm missing Maine already!
