I really couldn't ask for more then I have planned or in the works for this summer.
As for the piece, the house lower on the hill doesn't line up exactly with the chuch, but that house is lined up with other houses on the street that goes behind the church. But I think some of the distortion in the photo comes from my shoty camera skills or how close I was to he piece when i took the photo. The top of the church in the photo leans to our left and it is definitly straight on the piece..?.Daniel Coreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11608474052555501801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9113241696195759850.post-63902317264658129762009-05-31T10:16:45.622-07:002009-05-31T10:16:45.622-07:00You seem to have cornered the market in that lovel...You seem to have cornered the market in that lovely turquoise that makes a regular appearance in your work. Another nice set. How did the rest of the show work out, any interest generated in your stuff?

Just a thought on further viewing of this set, the hilly street picture. Is it the buildings or me that seems to see a perspective disconnect between the church tower and the building further down the hill?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09350381570737387904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9113241696195759850.post-75967044132910130882009-05-29T16:20:25.513-07:002009-05-29T16:20:25.513-07:00Thanks Eric, next time you make it to Maine I'll t...Thanks Eric, next time you make it to Maine I'll take you on the local paint tour including Lilac Cottage.
I think if he was shocked at the colors he was mixing to make the paintings work, he would be blown away by a pop up ad, never mind site maintenance.Daniel Coreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11608474052555501801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9113241696195759850.post-88329364918349604692009-05-29T10:36:12.560-07:002009-05-29T10:36:12.560-07:00Great quotes Dan; just think of Monet's horror if ...Great quotes Dan; just think of Monet's horror if he'd had to build a website and get the color to work online!

Paintings look great - and Lilac Cottage sounds cool.Eric Merrellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07122723016165486013noreply@blogger.com
