  Sometimes these scenes almost crop themselves and between the overlapping shapes and colors I just can't help but start painting. The scene for the subject of this painting was in Friendship Maine.

This sketch was an attempt at capturing that semi glowing color that lightbulbs seem to have in almost any lighting situation. Sometimes the color harmony within an object is like a perfect conversation.
